Hi everyone! First off, we want to give a big thank you to Alli for being willing to give us a little space to talk about who we are and what we do. She's been an amazing supporter of Pixel Scrapper over the years in so many different ways, and we love her creations as one of our creative team members. :)
Now, Pixel Scrapper is a community and graphics site oriented primarily around and for digital scrapbookers (though we welcome digital artists of all kinds!).
We like to see people thrive in their creativity and in life. And we believe that happens in community: in connection to one another. We believe in generosity of spirit and in generosity in our work. As we built Pixel Scrapper (and continue to build Pixel Scrapper), these were the values we wanted to be seen and felt permeated throughout the site and community.
And so we have one of the most open and freeing commercial use licenses on the web. We wanted artists to be free to work and be inspired to use our graphics without feeling the anxiety that often comes from the fear of accidentally trespassing on terms of use.
We also have an open gallery, a place where people can share their layouts and what they've created, and you don't have to be exclusively showcasing Pixel Scrapper graphics. Have something beautiful you've made with graphics from other stores? Feel free to share it!
Our blog trains are a huge community favorite — a spot each month where people contribute kits they made that correspond with a particular theme, and everyone allows their stuff to be downloaded completely for free for the whole month! We refuse to partner with a spirit of scarcity, but rather believe that there is enough to go around for all of us seeking to make a living in the digital arts world.
On top of this, users register for free and get five free downloads (for PU or CU licenses) every single day. So don't be scared away by what resources you may not have — stakes are low. Come explore and have fun with us! We have thousands upon thousands of graphics, and a great site search that will allow you to narrow things down to exactly what you're looking for (or if you don't know what that is, just browse through the graphics and pick out anything that strikes your fancy).
